# pxstud.io manual

How to draw, animate and build tilesets in pxstud.io, the pixel art editor that runs in your browser.

pxstud.io is a pixel art and animation editor that runs in your browser. It needs no account and no
install: open the editor and start drawing. Your work is saved in the browser as you go, and the
editor keeps working offline.

This manual explains what every part of the editor does and how to use it. If you've used Aseprite,
most of it will feel familiar: pxstud.io follows the same ideas (layers, frames, cels, tags,
tilemaps), and opens and saves `.aseprite` files.

## Where to start
